Long lasting floor coatings start planning and proper installation

Preparation is just as important as your coating choice. An expensive floor can quickly bubble up or chip away if the surface is not ready for the application.

The floor must be sanded or ground down to a solid foundation without dust and chips that can properly bond with new coatings. Next, any cracks that might allow moisture seepage need to be properly filled and then leveled to the flatness that you desire.

The type and number of coatings will depend upon your specific need: A computer chip manufacturers need a dust free, static dissipative surface. Food processors need odor-free, slip resistant coatings that will withstand constant wetness, high heat and daily pressure washing. Airplane Hangars need fuel and oil resistant coatings that withstand the weight and impact of heavy loads.
